Bryan; Thanks so very much for you reply. A certain Dean Abhugh injected a new mystery into my genealogy with his posting to "Ancestry World Tree". He had Elizabeth connected to the correct pedigree in his posting. Unfortunately, his email address is no longer working and I was unable to follow up with him directly. As far as I know, none of us who are doing Repp research have ever heard this before. We only know that Peter Repp's wife was named Elizabeth. Peter and she are listed in the 1820 Schuylkill twp, Schuylkill Cty, PA census with 6 of their 7 children. The oldest, a dtr Anna Marie was 15-16 yrs. Elizabeth and Peter are both buried in the Albert Munson cemetery in Harrisville twp, Medina cty, OH. On her tombstone are the dates: b. 7 Aug 1787, d. 9 Oct 1861. They came to Medina cty ca 1828-1829. In Schuylkill cty they attended the "Pineswamp" church (sometimes called Repp's church) in Norwegian twp in the vicinity of Pottsville. That church is no longer in existence and it apparently had a cemetery which is also lost. Peter's mother, Eva Catherine, was buried there as well as Peter/Elizabeth's infant son Heinrich. Their contemporaries were Keim, Bensinger, and Delcamp, also in the church. Peter's father was Conrad Repp who had moved to Schuylkill ca 1801 from Rockland twp, Berks cty, PA. My pedigree is Casper Repp (the immigrant)-Conrad Repp-Peter Repp(our subject)-Peter Repp-Henry Repp-Franklin Repp-Glenn Repp-and then myself, Glenn Repp (Jr). I hope this may pique some interest for you. Please stay in touch. Glenn
