Daniel Newcomb Ostrander & Ermina Buck are my ancestors.
Descendants of Joseph Brainard & Deloria Buck are my "double cousins".
Joseph Brainard Ostrander(1830) son of Joseph Ostrander(1808) & Irene Newcomb(1806).
Joseph Brainard Ostrander brother of Daniel Newcomb Ostrander.
Jeremiah Buck (1799) m Waite Gould Lewis. They had a daughter, Deloria, who m Joseph Brainard Ostrander in 1852. Deloria was the mother of Alice Ostrander---Alice m Ed McNeil.
Jeremiah Buck (1799) had a brother, Duty Buck. Duty had a daughter, Ermina Buck--Ermina m Daniel Newcomb Ostrander 1856 in Illinois.
The Ostrander brothers married the Buck cousins. ( Deloria & Ermina were first cousins)
For twenty years I had been of the opinion that I made a unique discovery in establishing the relationships of the two Ostrander/Buck marriages. I am most pleased that these relationships were recorded in a family bible many years ago. I look forward to seeing this bible.
