Hello Doug, thanks for responding to my note. I lost Daniel after he was paroled at Vicksburg after being a prisoner at Camp Morton,IN. I have an idea he went back to the Springfield,TN area where he had a son, George. So I suppose he was buried in that area. I doubt he had a headstone due to the poverty in that time period. Also he was discharged due to a disabillity, maybe due to sickness while in prison. I've looked everywhere I know to find some trace of him but have had very little sucess. I know of where three brothers and a sister lived and died, and Daniel's decendants. If any of this info is of interest to you I'll be happen to share. George
