I just back from Drew County, Ark.Alva L. Oslin's big two story house is still there by the Cemetary. They say that it is in bad shape inside. One of Alva's son inherited it and he is dead.Don't know who is taking care of the place.Wilmar is getting ready to have a shopping center.Don't know just what stores will be added. My mother was Clara Belle Blackwell, whose mother was Effie Irene Baker, daughter of Deloula Oslin, wife of Alva L. Oslin.Did you know that he was a Lt. in the civil war.He resigned his commission and became their blacksmith, guess some in authority got him to do it.He was also treasurer of Drew County.Have a Happy Day and let me hear from you.
