I am the daughter of Eleanor Osgood Chessman whose aunt was Ruth L. Osgood. Growing up I knew Aunt Ruth as a special person who loved to draw and paint. When my Osgood Uncle Bob and Aunt Gretchen died, I received several sketch books from their estate. These contained many pencil and pen/ink drawings done by my Great Aunt Ruth. I also own a beautiful painting of Mt. Monadnock in New Hampshire where my family used to spend our summers. I found out that Ruth attended the Corcoran School of Art in D.C. as well. I would be interested in knowing any other family history about her life. Thanks! Anne Chessman Smith
