Here are some good clues and some not so good:

The 1930 Census database has in Montgomery Co., NY, Sadie C. OSGOOD, 52, & Jesse G. OSGOOD, 18.

Montgomery Co., NY, 1920, OSGOOD, Jesse G., 45; Sadie C., 43; Jesse G., 8.

The Glen Co. Phone Book, 1917, Amsterdam, NY, had Jesse C. OSGOOD, living at 48 Storrie, 448J.

In Ward 8, Amsterdam, Montgomery, NY, 1900, Jessie, b. May 1874, NY, father b. NY, son of Rebeca, b. May 1835, PA.

I don't see Jesse of Sta. Clara Co., CA, 1910. The only one that is identifiable there is Imri OSGOOD, 66, with Emma, 51. That could be Imri OSGOOD of Warner, Merrimack Co., NH, who was 39 in 1880, with wf. Elizabeth, 33, & daus. Jennie B. & Eva M. FamilySearch says Imri, b. 19 Sep. 1840, was of Caleb of Enoch. There were other OSGOODS of Sta. Clara Co., CA, 1910, but they are only given by initials WL, 63; HA, 58; HH, 28; & M., 24.

In 1880, there were only two OSGOOD entries for Montgomery Co., NY.
Crocker J. OSGOOD of Palatine Bridge, 47, VT VT VT, was a coachman for Wm. H. DAVIS.
Carrie OSGOOD, 15, NY NY NY, of Mohawk, was with Simeon & Barbara SAMMONS.

In 1880, there was a Jessee OSGOOD, 5, Argyle, Washington Co., NY, son of Stark OSGOOD, 32, & Minnie, 35, all births NY. That wouldn't likely be your Jesse even though the age fits, because the name of the mother doesn't fit in 1900, but there might be some connection.

The only family that come up for ROGGE in 1880 is Sarah A. ROGUE, 2, of Tennessee. There were several ROGGE families in New York, but none in Montgomery County.

Do you have any other clues, such as names of the wife and children of Jesse G. OSGOOD, b. 1911, or other places they lived?
