I am a descendant of Ephriam Osborne (1657-1734) of Massachusetts. I have been trying to find evidence of the father of his father, John Osborne married to Mary Knight. I have found others trying to link Ephriam's father, John Osborne (b. abt 1615), to Sir Peter Osborne. While others claim John Osborne's father is a John Osborne (b. abt. 1589 in Weymouth, MA).
Do you have any information on the ancestry beyond John Osborne m. Mary Knight?
Also, in my search, I ran across and interesting note about Ephriam Osborne. I was wondering if you are familiar with this. See Below.

English boy: Ephraim Osborne
This almost certainly is Ephraim Osborne, son of John Osborne and Mary Knight Osborne, who was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on August 11, 1657. In 1674, when he was a few months shy of his 17th birthday, both Ephraim and his new step mother, Marie Osborne, were tried and found guilty of “notorious Lascivious practice as lying in the same bed [together] several times.” The New London County Court ordered them whipped upon the naked body. After the death of his father two years later, Ephraim and his brother John, Jr. together with the widow Marie returned to Massachusetts, where they settled in Charlestown. On October 21, 1697, Ephraim married Jane or June Matson and raised a family of six. He died in Charlestown on August 26, 1734.
