A Gaggle of Trents & Related Familes, (subtitled)-and those behind the bushes!
Here in July of 2011 I have a "housekeeping" question on formatting....????? any one have any ideas??? Thanks!
With only three more sections or chapters to go, I'm thinking ahead.I BELIEVE that the easy way is to do "Footnotes" for each section or chapter AT the end of that item. Then I can carry over that footnote source to future sections as an ( ibid. ) reference. That would certainly be easier the doing footnotes at the end, for the entire document! Does any one have any input on how I set this part up?
ALSO for a Names Index and over the yrs. I've seen them done both ways, (1) with the names for a chapter indexed at the end of that chapter and (2) with the names indexed at the end of the entire book or document. I think I know which way is the easiest and quickest to do!!! Does any one have any input on how I set it up? I know IT'S more trouble for the "reader" if they have to look at an INDEX for each section or chapter, but is it absolutely necessary to have the INDEX at the END of the document???? Thanks!
