Earl I heard one other variant on why the terminal "e" from a cousin Osborne in East Hampton, LI NY a couple of years back. His take was that the Farmer branch of the family dropped the "e" whereas the City branch kept it. Perhaps, but I had to note that I sprouted from the "Farmer" branch who worked their way South and West into KY and ultimately CA. Notify Administrator about this message?
