I am just now starting to get back into family history research, and I was hoping I could get any sort of input or advice.
My grandmother is Olene Osborne (b. 13 Feb 1923 in Kentucky). Her father was John Henry Osborne (b. in Kentucky, d. ca. 13 Feb 1929) and her mother was Cordie Alice Oldfield (b. 19 Nov 1892 in Kentucky, d. ?). I believe John Henry's father was James W Osborne (b. ca. 1843 in Missouri, d. ?).
Do any of these names ring a bell with anyone? The only research tool I seem to have at my disposal is searching historical records on Ancestry.com, but I feel I've run out of options.
Are there any published books with detailed Osborne family history?
