In Ridge Cemetery south of Effingham Illinois my g grandfather's stone has the spelling Osborn for him and his wife. Their death certificates have Orsborn for him and Osborn for her. Their two sons are also buried there. One is Osborn and the other is Orsborn. Each of the son's families today still spell their names differently. It is possible your bible page was recorded later by one person who knew there was an established different spelling in the family and recorded it as such?
