I think you will find that the Richard Osborne of New Haven booked passage on a ship called the Hector and is listed as a founding father. His brother was Thomas Osborne a tanner and original planter. They came from Ashford Kent England. He is mentioned more than once in an on line book called "History of the Colony of New Haven". I have a note here that says look on pages 42, 110 and 137. Hope this helps.
