Chuck,
The object for most of us is to get to the truth as best we can. That means we try and prove that something or someone is.
While I agree that Genealogy is supposed to be fun, it is not when someone takes the hard gathered work of someone else, and adds junk to it, and uses the good data to show that they are good and know what they are doing, to justtify the junk they push.
Research, Chuck, includes using the records, not passing and gathering Family Group Sheets. So if the records end so does the family line. There is no point of going further, if it is not correct, and it is not correct if there is no record.
Sooooooo untill you prove you are correct, you are wrong.
Feel free to state whatever you like and I'll feel free to Challenge it.
Your correct it is a forum for input.
You know that the only way that we can can disprove to your satisfaction, your fales position is to prove a different one. What standard of proof do wish from us on that? Do we need documentation? Or do we need to just take a vote?
Joe
