Too many Osborne to even know where to begin
Hi to all the Osborne clan!
This is all I know of my ancestors
My Grandfather Horace Delbert Osborne born about 1887 somewhere in Kansas; his family was in the land run of 1889 in Oklahoma. He was about 2 at the time.
He married Maude Victoria Chrysong
He was a preacher non-denominational in Oklahoma and they lived in Edmond, Oklahoma for years; but since my birth in 1950; I only remember them living in Oklhoma City, OK.
I know there was an Uncle Loren; and an Uncle Tom, and an Uncle Claude. He had two sisters that I know of; Aunt Telva and and Chloe. Uncle Tom lived just across the border in Nebraska.I'm thinking we are related to the Osborne's of which Osborne Kansas is named.
Horace and Maude had 10 children; of which the twins, Chloe and Floe died in infancy; and one daughter Pansy, who died at the age of about 10; from bad milk. There were 7 children who reached adulthood.
Hazel, Ruby, Loren, George A., Billy S. , Jewel,and H.D.
All are now deceased except George and Jewel.
Hazel married Orin Burnett Children Almeda, Donald Ray, and Joy Ann
Ruby married Bill Waters Children:Children Dorothy, Catherine and Charolette
Loren died in his early 20's
George A. married Dorothy LoweryChildren, George A., Jr, Terry Lee, Danny
Billy S. married Betty Mae Wright - My parentsChildren: Sharon Kay, Laura Lee, and Billy Delbert (guess who I am :)
Jewel married Jack McKelvey Children Victoria Elizabeth and Sandra Jean 2nd marriage to Raymond Tisdale:Children Tammy and Janet
H.D. married (Virgina ?)one daughter named Ginny Fern
So as you can see I'm just beginning my search and This seemed like a good place to start!
Anyone have further information; I would love to share and learn.
Laura Osborne Vick
