14 April 1860In the name of God, Amen, I Abram Osborne being weak of body but of sound mind and disposing memory and considering ths mortal life uncertain do publish this my last will and testament. First of all I give my soul into the hands of God who gave it and after my decease I wish my estate to be divided as follows: First, I leave all my estate real and personal to the use of my beloved wife Jane, the place for her home and the personal property for her use during her natural life. After her decease I will the farm on which I now live to my son Benjamin Osborne. To my sons Jonathan and James Russell Osborne I will one dollar, likewise to my daughter Elizabeth Thorn I will one dollar. To my son Taylor Osborne I will ten dollars and to my son Abram Osborne I will twenty-five dollars. To my son George L. Osborne I will fifty dollars, and to my son Jackson Osborne I will three acres of land adjoining his own lot, and the said Jackson Osborne to pay the estate five dollars for the same. Given under my hand and seal this fourteenth day of April, 1860, in Menallen Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
