Im searching info online about the Sargent family and thought someone out there might be able to help me sort out who My Rebecca Ann Sargent is..
Her husband John Osbun's parents are John and Sarah (Stanley) Osborn of North Carolina. John was born May 15,1860 and Sarah b. Mar. 14,1761.

They have listed John and Rebecca (Sargent) Osborn with the same info as on Cherry Groves MM site.
I was reading that someone thought she might be the daughter of James Dempsey Sargent and Rachel Phelps. She apparently is listed in the Quaker records as Ann being born ~1818.
I know James & Rachael had a daughter named Ann b ~ 1818.
Might you have any idea who my Rebecca Ann Sargent's parents are?
Any ideas, thoughts, help is deeply appreciated, and I thank you, Patti Waldron
