In my grandfathers belongings, I found a 1908 photo of him with the following information: 'Taken at Cousin Katie Osborn's farm in St. Joe (Missouri) before they moved back to Kansas'. I have found only one Osborn family (other than my own) in St. Joseph at that time that fits - Frank Russell Osborn and wife Katherine (Farrell). Unfortunately, I cannot see how Frank and Katherine are related to my Osborns. Frank was born 3/27/1886 in Kansas, died 6/22/1962 in California. Katherine was born abt. 1882 in Kansas. Both of their children were born in St. Joseph, MO: Virginia, 6/23/1910, m. Mr. Gilmore, died 12/19/1947 in California, and Francis Russell Jr., b. abt. 1912. Census records indicate that Francis Sr. is a son of Silas R. and Rosa (?) Osborn. Silas is said to be son of James and Sarah Ann (Snider) Osborn, James b. 1812 in Kentucky.
