Glad to be of help. However, I should have given you a note of caution. A few years ago when I sent for a copy of a relatives Civil War pension file it took them 13 months (yes 13 months) to tell me they didn't have it. It allegedly was only supposed to take 3 to 4 months. Within getting into a political discussion, I was told this was because of the massive cuts in personal made by the previous administration in any area it didn't consider important. Whether true or not hopefully you will not experience the same thing.
As I understand it these records will eventually be online, but I don't know of any projected timeline. I believe they will be on Footnote.com as a few already are (I checked Daniel's isn't there).
However you end up getting your ancestor's file I believe you will find it quite interesting and hopefully extremely helpful in your research.
