I am the webmaster of the site
I repeat for every Orvin : Orvin is a village in Switzerland. We had a noble family Orvin (1223-1385) in our village. This noble family is realy died and does'nt exist any more. In the old papers of the village since 1650 to today, I never seen the last name Orvin and your origin is not in this village. I give you 2 researche's way :
1st. : In the village of Orvin is a last name Jeandrevin. The origin of this name is Jean d'Orvin (John of Orvin in english). Do you have an ancestor Jeandrevin ? If yes contact me.
2nd : I belive that it is a place in USA named Orvin :
Is your orgin to find in there ?
The only way to go foward is to do a genealogical research in USA.
