Hello Jesus, glad to hear from you. You mention your father was born in Teul. Were your grandfather and GGrandfather also born in Teul? If not, where were they born? Do you know their wives names? Was Martin's wife's name Dominga? I figure your GGrandfather Martin must have been born around 1880 to 1900 give or take 10 years. Does anyone in your family have either a birth certificate or marriage certificate for either of them? Do you still have relatives living in Teul that could give you more info? From the research I have done, there are alot of Ortiz in Teul but they all had to start somewhere. My GGGGrandfather was Homobono around 1820, GGGGGrandfather was Jose Maximo born around 1783 and my GGGGGGrandfather was Salomon Ortiz born around 1760, they were all born in Teul. Will be waiting to hear if you can find out some more info. It won't be easy or fast, but it's exciting if you like genealogy research.
