Orser Family Genealogy Forum
I don't think so but you had a good thought! Rhoda is not a common name and the ages match. This is why I think not.
First, some genealogists show a Rhoda Orser (I have never found a Rhoda but did find a Martha that the genealogist did not know about) as a sibling to the Orser's who went to Canada in 1783 (daughter of Joseph and Anntje Orser) I have records of the passenger list (to Canada in 1783) and well as testimony in Canada from all the children stating name, age, etc, and where they were living "John the eldest is the only one who staid behind" (in the states) but no mention of a Rhoda.
Also, I have a court case in which all the sibling or children or grandchildren (living) state their connection to the Orsers. This is a court case to get money for the old homestead (in NY) when the eldest son died in 1837. Since there is no mention on any of the documents of a Rhoda or a Heustis I think "your" Rhoda is not and Orser (and I'm not even sure there ever was a Rhoda Orser (daughter of Joseph and Anntje Orser)!!!!
