Brad, Thank you for your follow-up posting. I was afraid this forum was going to die for lack of participation.
"1890-1891 Scholastic Records of Van Zandt County, Texas" list Mary (female, age 15), S. (female, age 11), and H. E. (male, age 9), children of J. M. Orsborn. This is Jeremiah Orsborn in my first post. The age of Mary fits your GrGrandmother's approximate age for 1890-91.
"Van Zandt County, Texas Marriage Records 1855-1884" shows J. M. (Jeremiah) Orsborn and Mary Ellis March 1, 1869. This would also fit. Mary Ellis' middle name was Susan. I believe they and some of their children are buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery near Wills Point, TX.
I have some information on Mary Susan Ellis's family if you think this is your family, and I will gladly share what information I have.
