Ann Davis, b. abt 1764, Loudoun Co., VA m.abt 1782, Andrew Arison, b. abt 1750?, NJ. Ann was d/o Benjamin & Hannah Davis of Loudoun Co. Benjamin d. testate 1803 -Will G:68, 1799/1803 (see Loudoun Co. GenForum msg 1499) His heirs include: Ann,dau; Martha Orison, gr. dau; Sarah, Rachel, Elizabeth, daus. and sons Abel and Howell.
Andrew changed the spelling of his name to Arison. He and his famiy migrated to Fayette Co., PA. Children of Andrew & Ann are:
1. Lucinda
2. John, m. Catherine, d/o GEorge & Mary (weaver) Day. John was soldier in War of 1812. He was a farmer and cooper and lived on RedStone Creek in Fayette Co.
3. Mathew
4. Ann
5. Elizabeth
6. Ananias.

Ananias Orison is listed as a witness to the Loudoun Co. Will of Phillip Cooper - 2A:362,1843 and a witness to the Will of George Sanders -2B:53, 1844.
Jonah Orrison is listed as a witness to the Will of Lydia Ramey -2C:217.1844/1846.
Whether Ananias was s/o Andrew & Ann Arison is unknown to me. There is a biography in Fayette Co. of the Andrew Arison family.
