Hi Michele, Information was given on a census that Robinson was born in NC abt. 1800. That would place Benjamin there also. Benjamin is not on the 1790 census. He does not have is own household and may be a member of the John Orrick household. John has two males over 16 in his household one of which would be himself of cource. Samuel has no children in his household and is probably old with any children out of his household by 1790. Benjamin is closly related to the Samuel, William and John on this NC 1790 census because the names are used in Benjamins decendants.
Remember that Benjamins son James Madison Orrick named sons William, Samuel, John and Benjamin.
The only thing that I would now question is James Griniffe as the father of William. We should look at Samuel as a canidate along with James Griniffe.
Thanks for your reply,
