Sherman, I believe you mean John, Samuel and William who are found on the 1790 census in Randolph, Co NC.
Could the Samuel you refer to in 1810 be Willams son? William b.1755 had Joel,James,Samuel and William I believe. I'm at work and can't look at what I have. We see Samuel in 1759 in the Indian wars. We find him again in 1779 and 1790 in Randolph Co. NC.
This 1810 Samuel would be about 70 (just a guess) in 1810 if he were the 1759 Indian wars Samuel Orrick. The census should show if Sam has any children in the household. That would help to identify him. The 1790 census Sam has no children in the household on that census. He has a female and a servant. My conjecture has been that he was old by 1790.
