Going the other way, George William ORROCK (1828-1909) was the only (as far as I am aware) child of William ORROCK and Eleanor ARMSTRONG.
William ORROCK
b. 06 July 1796 and bapt. 18 September 1796 at All Saints, Newcastle. Worked as a mariner and lived in district of North Shore, Newcastle.
Married 06 October 1825 Eleanor (Ellen) ARMSTRONG. Ellen died 29 January 1855 and William died 06 March 1861.
William was 4th child of George ORROCK and Jane MARSHAL.
George ORROCK was born about 1765 (unfortunately that’s where I’m stuck as cannot locate his birth records or anything giving his parents). He worked as a waterman/keelman and married Jane MARSHALL 22 September 1788 at All Saints, Newcastle.
