I just received information that my ggrandfather's mother was Belinda Pride Orrick. I've read somewhere else though that her name is Belinda Paralee Orrick. Her father was Ansel Lenex Orrick and her mother was Martha "Patsy" Chrisman, both born in Tennessee
I'm trying to find any information on my ancestors, if there is any indian blood, etc. Mainly, I just want to know who my family is since all are deceased now except me and my brother, and we're not old, but not young either, 54 and 52. Our great grandfather was Archibald Yell Pense. Apparently, Belinda married Joseph P. Pense sometime before 1858.
Belinda was born 1835 died pre 1870
Joseph P. and Belinda had two sons, James Robert and Archibald Yell, my ggrandfather.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
