Henry Ormerod b. 1796 Yorkshire England, wife, Martha b. 1796 Yorkshire, son,Abraham Ormerod b. 1821,daughters, Betty & Mary both b. 1831, daughter, Alice b. 1834 and son Henry, b. 1838 (all births in Yorkshire) this information was taken from the 1841 census in Stansfield, Morley, Todmorden, Yorkshire England. I believe it possible that Henry & Martha are the parents of my great grandfather Henry Ormerod who was b. 24 July 1837 in England & married Elizabeth Ann Tweedale (d/o Isaac & Jane Marsh Tweedale) on 30 April 1863 at St. Stephenss Church Rochdale, Lancashire England. As my Henry Ormerod would be the same age as their son Henry. My Great grandparents named their first born child, Martha Jane Ormerod, they named one of their sons Abraham, another daugher was named Mary Elizabeth, and my Grandmother (Henry & Elizabeth's youngest child) was named Sarah Alice Ormerod. Anyone having any information on this family, please contact me with anything additional that possibly I can make the connection to Henry & Martha Ormerod as my Great, Great Grandparents. I am also willing to share information that may pretain to your branch of the Ormerod family.
Thanking you in advance for your reply,
