I am researching the Ormerods of Longridge and Blackburn.
I note that you are a decendant of Dennis son of Henry and Ann Ne Hesmandalgh, who married at Ribchester. My husband
decends from the same family his decendant being Henry brother to Dennis. Henry married Amelia Airey at St.Marys the Virgin Blackburn 23.10.1848. Dennis died 21.11.1840 aged
28 years, he left a will which I hold a copy of.Also I have
a copy of the will of Henry Ormerod husband of Ann who died 1830.
