John Ormerod was my uncle:
His Father was Thomas Ormerod b 22rd March 1864 (Chorley)
His Father was John Ormerod bp 3rd November 1844
His Father was Wellington Ormerod b 1818(?)

I have no record of a Jane Ormerod

It may assist if I tell you that the family has a history of recurring twins, i.e., my Father Thomas Ormerod, John Ormerod's Brother, had a twin Brother, killed in the 1st World War; John Ormerod (1844) had a twin Brother James.
It appears that James, John and Thomas are continuing family names. Wellington Ormerod died in 1886 in Little Bolton. It is difficult to find any detail of where Wellington was born. Certainly the family has lived in various parts of Lancashire.
