I have a wide range of ages in 4 different censuses for this John Ormerod. They give his birth as being somewhere between 1802 and 1816 in Billington.
In 1841 he was with his wife Elizabeth GRIME (marriage whereabouts unknown) in Stakes Hall, Livesey, Blackburn and was there until at least 1871.
He and Elizabeth had the following children: William (1829), Thomas (c1834), Jeremiah (c1835), Elizabeth (c1836), Sarah (1837), Mary (1839), Ann (c1842), Alice (1843), John (1845), Nancy (1848), Abraham (c1850), Ruth (1853)
also possibly an earlier Nancy and a Jane Anne.
Thomas married Sarah PROCTOR
Jeremiah married Alice DERBYSHIRE
John married Esther Ann COCKETT
Nancy married Samuel BRIGGS
Abraham married Margaret Ann LUCAS
Ruth married Edward WOLSTENHOLME
