Both the Orman and Mishler families were German. Orman is a corruption of the name Auman. I believe the Comer family was also German. Patia Mishler's father Emanuel Mishler was a member of the Mennonite church. The Burger's and the Mishler's were dark skinned with dark hair.
Manuel Mishler owned the building in Marion Township, Owen County, In. where William and Patia's children attended school.
