My Maternal Grandfather was Laurentino Orlando, born in Villa La Magna (i'm not sure of the spelling) in beautiful Abruzze, near Aguila???

My Maternal Grandmother was Anna (Tamaro) Orlando who was also from that region.

My Mother was Rita Ann (Orlando) D'Urso born in Lynn Mass USA. Today would have been her 68th birthday and I miss her very much.

Did you know that the Orlando family name is based on a ficticious adventure character named Orlando that many Italians came to admire?
