My computer dumped on me, and I haven't gotten my genealogy put back on, when I do, I will send you what I have.
When I first started to research my husbands family line ( Orin is the natural line, his grandfather was orphaned and adopted), I wrote to every Orin I could find listed nationwide. I was surprised that there were less then 100!
I got a responce from the son of a researcher who passed away in the early 1970's. His son went up in the attic and photocopied some of his fathers papers. Amoung those were letters to him from Fern.
I recieved about 30 or so responses to my letters, and I literally sat on my livingroom floor and "compared notes". I was absolutly shocked when I found that all the information came together like a giant jigsaw puzzle. Everyone had some of thier history, and combined with the information from Michael, I was able to piece it all together.
