Hi Lillian

We do have lotís of family similarities but Iím not sure if your age fits in with my memory of Billyís history.

If itís the same Billy Organ, he is my cousin, named after my Dad, William Worrall. Jessie was his sister who married Archie Organ. My Dadís family came from Oldham, but Archie must have come from Newcastle because he had a very strong Gordie accent.
I often wondered what happened to Billy because the family story is - that he left his wife and baby daughter and did not get back in contact with them, even with Jessie.. We were told that Auntie Jessie helped to look after Billyís wife and daughter. I had not heard of another daughter. Billy did occasionally contact my father by phone as he traveled around the world and Dad passed any information he received on to Jessie. My Dad and all his generation are dead now Iím afraid.

I have another cousin John (eldest son of Amy, Jessieís sister) who moved out to Christchurch, New Zealand. Evidently, Billy turned up at his house one day, to catch up on old times and then disappeared again. This must have been about 10 years ago now.
He must have so many adventures to tell, I thought it would be great to try and find him.
I only met Billy a few times because my parents moved to the Isle of Man and I was born there. I remember Billy being quite handsome, slight and with dark black hair. He was also said to be quite shy and unassuming. I havenít a photo Iím afraid but if we are talking about the same person I could ask other members of the family. I you could tell me your Mumís name that would help with the identification. I never knew it but my brother and another cousin still on the Isle of Man might be able to confirm it. I could also contact John in New Zealand.

If it helps, Jessieís parents were Arthur Worrall and Milly Smith but I donít know anything about Archieís side.

Good Luck with your search.
