A quick follow on to my posting about Tex O'Reilly. At the beginning of "Born to Raise Hell", in a chapter on the Glorious Clan (of O'Reilly), he establishes family linkage to Philip McHugh O'Reilly, brother or uncle of Count Alexander O'Reilly (not the more famous Philip MacHugh of the 17th century). I've seen multiple family trees for Count Alexander. Not surprisingly, there are some conflicts amongst them, as well as with the Tex O'Reilly version of things. Has anybody established links to Count Alexander or a Philip McHugh O'Reilly?

Also, he states that his great grandfather founded Rouses Point, New York, where his father was born. I know that his grandfather was married in Waddington, New York before moving to the Chicago area and establishing our family there. I often wonder if I've got ties to the apparently numerous O'Reillys in Quebec. Does this ring any bells?
