Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN THE POSSIBILITY
THAT HERMAN LUEDERS OR HIS FOREBEARERS MIGHT
HAVE COME FROM AREAS THAT WERE IMPERIAL GERMAN TERRITORY AFTER WW1 AND PRIOR TO WW2
FOR INSTANCE I HAVE RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT MY MOTHER WAS BORN IN JUTLAND ON APRIL 23,1915, AND HAD A GERMAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE
YET CAME TO THIS COUNTRY UNDER DANISH QUOTA 525 ON COLUMBUS DAY 1930 ON THE SS FREDRICK III WITH HER MOTHER AND THREE BROTHERS.
