Hi Tracey,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I am no where near 100% sure but i have a parent name of John Ord b:c0 Lamesley & Hannah Elliott b:1768 Tanfield bapt Washington, Co Durham.

John Ord b:1792 Lamesley occupation pitman may be connected to paper manufacturers in some way but it does look like the ord's have migrated from northumberland particulary Berwick-upon-Tweed (East Ord) to co durham over time. am i right to assume this?
