Hello,

Thoughtyou would like to know that there is a very large African American family named Orange living in New York City. Our original roots are from Pineland, SC. My grandparents were Rosa Pollins and Richard Orange, born either during slavery or shortly after. My dad was Richard Orange born in 1893. He was one of 8 or 9 children but, unfortunately, we did not know many of our aunts or uncles. Let's see if there is a connection and I'll send you more information. We've been trying to research the Afrian American Oranges for years!
