Time for an update... Looking for any information on, and specifically parents of, Warren Cash "Pap" KEITH (4 Aug 1818 Hardin Co KY-7 May 1892 Knights Landing, Yolo Co CA). Warren first married: 1) Mary DUDLEY (ca 1820 Bartholomew Co IN-ca 1848 Bartholomew Co IN, possibly d/o Wm DUDLEY) on 22 Sep 1837 in Bartholomew Co IN. They had two daughters: a) Catherine E. Keith (1838 Barth. Co IN-? Wasco Co OR) who married John IRVINE (1826 OH-? Wasco Co OR). They had 7 children, some settling in the Antelope area. b) Margaret E. Keith (1841 Barth. Co IN-1911 OR) who married first, Thomas Henry DAVIS (1815 OH-1878 Josephine Co OR) around 1856 in Linn Co OR (8 children), and second, Alex SANBORN (??) around 1878 in Josephine Co OR (3 children). Later lived in Siskyou Co CA. Warren married second: 2) Sarah Ann BOAZ (ca 1820 TN-1857 Wasco Co OR, d/o Mignon Boaz and Sarah POPE) on 31 Aug 1849 in Bartholomew Co IN. Might be buried in the Pioneer City Graveyard in The Dalles, Wasco Co OR. They had: c) Elzorah (Elmira?) Keith (1850 IA-? OR) who married William S. TURNBOW (1836 McNary Co TN-1911 Marion Co OR) on 30 Jan 1868 in Josephine Co OR (6 children). d) James Solomon Keith (1856 Wasco Co OR-1909 Knights Landing, Yolo Co CA) who married Katherine Lauretta DONOVAN (1863 NY-1934 Knights Landing, Yolo Co CA) on 24 Apr 1881 in Yolo Co CA (7 children). Warren Cash Keith was a Mexican War veteran who arrived in OR on 17 Oct 1852; filed a DLC in The Dalles, Wasco Co OR, which he later sold to Mosier and Howe (site of Mosier's Mill?); served as a Wasco Co commissioner at county formation in 1854; owned a successful livery stable business in The Dalles; served as a Pvt in the 1st OR Mounted Volunteer Cavalry during the Rogue River and Yakima Indian Wars in 1853-56; served as a Quartermaster Sergeant in Co E, 1st OR Cavalry during the Civil War; moved to Josephine Co OR around 1866 where he owned several ranches; and finally moved to Yolo Co CA around 1870, where he was again in the livery stable business until his death. He, and son, James Solomon Keith's family are buried in the Knights Landing Cemetery, Knights Landing, Yolo Co CA.
