Kathryn,
I looked at your other postings and see a large number of inquiries. Thus, pardon me, I'm "assuming" you have a good background in genealogy research and probably have already obtained US Census information on this family. I see most of your postings have very little information on what you have. Most researchers would see all of your postings and likewise believe you have already done the basics, so they would probably not assist. To assure more help in the future, identify specifically what specific information you have and that you want. I don't know if the person below, "lamron", is you or someone else; but they appear to have information on William and Wilhelmina. It appears they emigrated from Germany to Canada in 1852, then in 1868 came on down to America.

I find several family trees posted on this family. I've included the Ancestry.com location of the tree in the event you have Ancestry. If not, you might be able to access it at your local library. I've also sent a message to the person posting to read this thread. For those identified as living, you can find some of them using www.zabasearch.com

1. The End Family Tree owned by "mmuilenburg77".
http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/person.aspx?tid=725867&pid=-2055546576
The tree begins with Otto Ohms, born Oct 1842 in Prussia, identifies his wife Louisa and son William born 1878, died 12 May 1950 in LaGrande, Union Co, Oregon. William married Huldah (sic) and had a daughter Laura Gladys Ohms. Laura died 10 July 1976 in La Grande. She married Harold T. Chadwick and had two daughters, Alidean and Berneva. Berneva married Ronald Brazeau and had two sons and two daughters. Berneva died Oct 1990 in LaGrande.

2. The Chandler Family Tree, owned by "vchandler56" (No contact possible)
http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/person.aspx?tid=5633267&pid=-1416504136
This tree starts with Otto Ohms. It showed he and Hulga had 5 daughters:
Verda 1895-1998 (103) in LaGrande. No further line info.
Laura 1898-1976
Nellie D 1899, no further line info.
Margaret 1906, no further line info
Helen Joann Ohms, 1914. She married Russel Chandler, born 1914, died 1989 and had two sons, Derrill and "Living". "Living" married "Living Barton" and had a daughter and a son. Living daughter married Richard David Treece.
--- www.zabasearch.com finds Richard in Hermiston, Oregon.

4. Thompson family tree, owned by "lamron"
http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/person.aspx?tid=56881&pid=-1505294291
The tree begins with William and Wilhelmina. He died after 1881 in Iowa, she in 1901. Son Albert is shown. Albert was born July 1849 in Canada, immigrated 1868 to the US, lived in Elgin, Union Co, OR. He and Margaret Barth had six sons and 2 daughters. This tree has info on the birth and death of these 8, but no further lineage online. This person may have those records and just online. This person also may be you, I saw a "Smith" name in the records.

The book, "An Illustrated History of Union and Wallowa Counties w/ a Brief Outline of Early History of State of Oregon", p. 293." was found on Heritage Quest online and page 293/294 was copied and sent directly. It concerned Albert Ohm.

These pages are also found at:

It does not appear the Otto Ohms in Idaho were related.

The Bureau of Land Management, land patents database
http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/
shows land purchased under the Homestead Act in Union County
--in 1911 by Albert Olms. This land of 40 acres was in the Willamette Meridian, Range 39-E, Township 1-N, Section 8, the SE portion of the NE Quarter of the Section.
--in 1897 by William Olms in Union Co
-- in 1893 by "Hillhimina Ohm". This land of 160 acres was located in the Willamette Meridian, Range 39-E, Township 1-N, Section 9, the S half of the South quarter.
--I can show you how to find this land on a topographic map online if you are interested.

The Oregon Archives link provided by the other person contains no database information. This site has some VERY limited:
