I have found the needed information on the STEPPA family. Obits, some wedding information, the newspaper article on the birthday celebration of 99 year old Myrtle STEPPA, and several articles and pictures of family in the files at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum. The Tillamook County Historical Society has an office at the museum where it keeps its books, records, newspaper clippings, etc. Their collection isn't just on Tillamook County. They have a very nice collection of books and materials on other counties and states and books on different types and areas of genealogy research. The people were very helpful.

The names of the STEPPA Family were: Myrtle M. STEPPA, died 23 February 1984, in Tillamook, born 13 Nov. 1883 (wife of Joseph H. STEPPA); Charles L. STEPPA, died 9 July 1987, in Tillamook, born 6 Dec. 1905 in Oregon (husband of Iva STEPPA); Iva L. STEPPA, died 19 Mar. 1982, in Tillamook, born 26 July (wife of Charles STEPPA); Fred H. STEPPA, died 19 Oct. 1988, in Salem, Marion County, buried in Tillamook at IOOF Cemetery, born 11 Oct. 1907 (2nd husband of Mary C. PONSNESS, STEPPA).

Sincerely,
Jan
