--3-9-1900 Born. Son on March 4 to M/M Chris Anderson.
--8-21-1903 Born. Daughter on August 1 to M/M Chris Anderson.
--1-8-1904 N.P. Hansen bought The Buckeye Farm of Robert Newton.
--7-14-1905 Born. To the J.A. Rasmussens a girl on the 8th, 12#.
--4-12-1912 Died. Mother of Mrs. J.A. Rasmussen at her Washington County OR home on April 5.
--5-24-1912 Circuit Court. E.J. Rasmussen vs. Thomas E. Sink.
--5-24-1912 Married. Earling J. Sound now of Portland and Miss Zania Rasmussen of Wasco at the J.E. Ellis residence in Wasco on May 19.
--8-19-1912 Funeral. Andreas Rasmussen, Portland on July 11. Burial Greenwood Cemetery.
--2-7-1913 Chris Anderson sold his Hay Canyon farm to Wilbur E. Woods of Weston.
--5-9-1913 R. Rasmussen of Portland returned home from visit to his son J.R. Rasmussen of Monkland, Sherman Co OR and dau Mrs. Chris Anderson of Moro.
--9-26-1913 Relatives visited M/M Chris Anderson from Portland: Mrs. Christine Lund, Mrs. Anderson's sister; Mrs. H. Hansen, Mrs. Anderson's sister-in-law; Miss Olsen, niece of Mrs. Hansen.
--8-7-1914 M/M Hans Hansen of Portland returned to their home from a visit to Chris Anderson and John Rasmussen families.
8-14-1914 R. Rasmussen went home to Portland from a two month stay with his daughter and family, Mrs. Chris Anderson, and his son J.A. Rasmussen.
8-13-1915 Hans Hansen and family returned to their Portland home.
--3-3-1916 N.P. Hansen, manager Moro Commercial Company.
--6-2-1916 Miss Rasmussen will visit sister in Indiana on way home to Denmark.
--8-11-1916 John Rasmussen sold ranch to Frank Burnett, will winter in California.
--9-8-1916 J.A. Rasmussen will winter at Newport (CA?).
--12-29-1916 A. Rasmussen married Sara Ruggles.
--2-2-1917 Earl Rasmussen... a most deplorable affair... Earl lives on a ranch in John Day River valley and with two companions, Allie Doan and Ray Brady, with solid and liquid provisions, was returning home. Wagon broke down near Charles Harper's ranch and Harper had left. They asked the housekeeper, Mrs. Pearl Bozart, for horses and she refused. They took them anyway, threatening Mrs. B. She shot over their heads, then shot Rasmussen between the eyes and shot Doan, grazed scalp, who is noted for quarrelsome disposition. She is the mother of two young children and of excellent reputation.
--7-20-1917 Bessie & Frances Anderson returned from visiting their uncle J.A. Rasmussen's family at Hillsboro.
--10-12-1917 Died. Father of Mrs. J.A. Rasmussen at Hillsboro.
8-10-1923 Bessie Anderson and Marguerite Foss went to a Christian Endeavor conference in DesMoines, IA.
11-30-1923 Married. Mrs. Fay Hentges of Wasco, daughter of Sherman P. Baker of The Dalles, to Norris Rasmussen of Wasco in The Dalles, OR on 11-22. She is a siter of Mrs. Lou Bauer.
--5-16-1924 Miss Frances Anderson of Moro graduated St. Vincent's School of Nursing.
5-23-1924 A. Rasmussen and wife of Pendleton in Sherman Co to see her sister Mrs. J.N. Landry of Moro.
7-2-1926 Mrs. Sound of Portland came to see her brother Norris Rasmussen.
--5-27-1927 Miss Bessie Anderson was in Portland to see her parents, M/M Chris Anderson.
--12-9-1927 Guardianship of Earl Rasmussen, incompetent, to E.A. Sound, describing land for sale.

Sherman County Births:
Born. Son to John Rassmussen and --- Gilbert on 8 July 1905.

Sherman County Journal November 1968:
Died. Norris Rasmussen, 4 November 1968 in Portland, buried Willamette National Cemetery, and his only relative is Zaina Rasmussen Sound (Mrs. Erling A. Sound) of L.A., formerly of Wasco. [The Sounds were married in Sherman County, OR 19 May 1912.]

They Paved the Way by Bertha Belshe: Grace Rasmussen, Danish, from Copenhagen, to Fairview School E of Moro,OR.

Mary Kristina (probably Nelson), daughter of Peter Nelson, m1 Anders Jacob Hansen of Denmark and they had three children:
1. Neils Peter Hansen b 29 April 1862 Fredericksund, Denmark, d 11 April 1945 Portland, OR, m1 Karen/Carrie Thompson 7 December 1884 The Dalles, OR and their children were Alice E., Ina Estella, Helen and Walter Delbert Hansen; m2 Julia A. Woods 1909, Portland, OR and they had a daughter Margaret Christine.
2. Christina Hansen m --- Lund.
3. Hans Hansen, cabinet maker in Denmark, settled in Sherman Co OR, m Hansine in Denmark, d 1948 buried Portland; to USA ca. 1885-91, lived on Sherman Co OR homestead for 9 years, returned to Denmark, to Portland, 1907; had a daughter who lived Portland, OR in 1907 m to Walter A. Larsen.

Kristina m2 Rasmus Rasmussen and they had:
1. Sophie/Sophia Rasmussen m Chris Anderson 23 Nov 1898 in Sherman Co OR and they had Bessie who m Guyer, Frances and Chester R. (1900-1950) Anderson and had a son;
2. John A./R. Rasmussen of Hillsboro, OR.

Karen "Carrie" Thompson was born in Denmark 30 Sept 1868 and d 14 April 1906, buried Rose Cemetery E of Moro, OR. It is believed her mother was called Minnie.

Newspaper clipping, undated, perhaps Oregon Journal: "WED 50 YEARS. Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen, Golden Anniversary Observed. Honors Paid to Goldenweds. Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen, celebrating their golden wedding anniversary, were honored Thursday at a dinner given in the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Larsen. Afterward, they were presented with gifts and were entertained by 100 friends in the parlors of the Bethany Lutheran church, of which they have been members for the last 33 years. Mr. and Mrs. Hansen were married in Denmark January 23, 1891, and came to the United States the same year. After homesteading in Sherman County, Oregon for nine years they returned to Denmark. In 1907 they came back to Portland where they have lived since."

Undated OBIT: "Hans Hansen. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Little Chapel of the Chimes for Hans Hansen, 82, of 1725 N. Killingsworth Street, who died Wednesday. Burial was at Riverview Abbey. Born in Denmark, Hansen came to this country in 1885 andhomesteaded in Sherman County and moved to Portland in 1907. He is survived by his wife, Hansine; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Larsen, Portland; a brother, John Rasmussen, Hillsboro; a sister, Mrs. Chris Anderson, Portland; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild."
