I found the following info.
1920 Census, Grande Ronde, Yamhill, OR
John T, head of household,born Missouri, age 60, Occupation;Merchant,
father born Germany, mother born Ohio.
Wife:Francis, age 28 born Oregon, Indian
Son: Tadore, age 10, born Oregon, Indian
Son: Dewalt, age 9, born Oregon, Indian

1910 census, same place
Only John is on the census, occupation: cards wool
says he is married and has been married for two years.
No wife or child with him

1930 census same place
John T, farmer who owns farm
John,Jr. son, laborer in sawmill

Oregon marriage records show John & Francis got married
in Yamhill county, June 8, 1908
According to Indian records, Dewalt was born October 23, 1910. He lists his father as David Holmes, mother as Francis Houck. He is with the Confederated Tribes of Grande Ronde.
Dewalt was married to a woman named Arvella, born May19, 1909, died December 2, 2002. They had a daughter Arline.
Tador was born June 8, 1909, died March 23, 1983,Gridley, CA.
