I'm sorry I confused you.

There is only one Maude Van Ostrand with a son Paul and a beauty shop in Portland, and she is your former mother-in-law.

And, I still don't understand the "Roberts" name part of the story. I orginially found Maude Van Ostrand with the name "Roberts" in Maude's father's Civil War pension record. It sure made researching her very difficult.
