Thank you for the lookup! I think maybe Ms. Stinnett was a little confused about Gilbert's marriages.

There was no "Jackie Connor" - just my grandma Ethel May Leach Brown, who did die on December 26, 1985, also in Portland, Oregon. (I wish I had a copy of my grandmother's obit from the Oregonian too - I wrote to the Oregonian for it but they referred me to a library, whom I wrote to and never heard from!).

She and Gilbert were married in approx. 1950-1951, as their daughter Ginger was born in 1951.

Gilbert & my grandmother, Ethel May Leach are buried as husband and wife in Willamette Cemetery.

Please let me know if you ever need a lookup from the Kansas City, MO area. I will be happy to do so for you : )
