I've just signed up for a 14 day trial of ancestry and did a search of Oregon deaths.

The details I've obtained from the FamilySearch.org information don't seem to match. I think perhaps that death listing belongs to this man instead:

Name:        Hankin, Nathan
County:        Multnomah
Death Date:        29 Sep 1955
Certificate:        11100
Spouse:        Virtue

As you can see, the wife is named Virtue, not Elizabeth. I shall have to keep looking.
