The Oregon Marriage Index I looked at showed the following for the bride, but didn't list the name of the groom. The groom was also listed by themselves without the name of the bride. Both of these brides are probably related, although the maiden name is just a little different.

SYPNESPI, Lucille.........26.........2/16/10
SYPUESKI, Verna...........26.........6/14/10
[Research Note: Verna's maiden name was really speled with a "U" instead of an "N". The year designated as "10" was for the year 1910.]

The Oregon Marriage Index also had a reference to a marriage of RAYL, Bethel on3 March 1917, but the marriage took place in Gilliam County, Oregon which is several miles east of Multnomah County. Gilliam County's county seat is the town of Condon.

The library of the Genealogical Forum of Oregon has copies of some of the early Multnomah County Marriage record books. I might be able to find information on the above marriages in one of those books. Their library is closed today, but I'll try to get there in a couple of days.

Are you interested in getting copies of these marriages if I find them?
