David Patrick "Pat" Steward

What happened to him..did he marry / have children..is he still alive..where ?..did he die..where ?

Parents:
Alvin A. and Vivian M. Hensel Steward
Step-son of Henry Hamburg
Alvin died 1948 and Vivian married Henry Hamburg 1954.

David Patrick "Pat" Steward was born after the 1930 census.
He had three sisters:
Maxine E. Steward (Donald E.)Largent (John)Luchaco
Maxine died 1957.
Betty J. Steward Stephens (Eldon B.)Brandt
Martha Steward (Dale R.)Miller Roehr

PORTLANDER HURT IN SHIP BLAZE PEARL HARBOR,Aug.9
(AP)-The Navy said Wednesday two enlisted men were killed and four injured in a flash fire aboard the cruisder Manchester last Thursday.
A Portland man was among the injured.
An announcement said the fire occurred in the aft fire room while the light cruiser was 500 miles off Hawwaii. It was enroute from the west coast to Pearl Harbor.
The Navy listed the dead as:
Roger E. Pelland, boilerman first class, Williamansett, Mass.;
Albert P. Corbett, fireman, Roxborough, PA
The two injured included David P. Steward, fireman apprentice, 6114 S.E. 53rd avenue, Portland, OR, son of Mrs. Vivian M. Steward.
