Krugs of Heppner Flood

Yay! I'm the first one on Genforum for Morrow County!

Am researching the Krugs of Nebraska. Our grandmother Otillie Krug Schmidt always said the family who owned the laundry that was washed away during the Heppner flood in 1903 were cousins. Looking for any relatives who might know. I already have the information from the library in Heppner that says they were all drowned and were German-speaking immigrants who had not been there very long.
